Our Founders’ Story

Application Process

We tour families throughout the year. Enrollment officially starts in February for the following school year. Open House for 2023-2024 school year will be the evening of February 12, 2024. To get started, simply fill out our inquiry form, email or call us.

Our Admission process includes:

  • In-person or virtual tour is the first step in the application process.

  • Completion of application and submission of a non-refundable application fee.  

  • Submission of executed Doctrinal Statement, Family Commitment, and Financial Commitment forms.  

  • Completion of a student academic/social screening.  

  • If required, submission of completed teacher recommendation forms.

  • If required, submission of prior school records.  

  • Submission of completed Pastor Recommendation Request form.  

  • Review of and submission to the SMCS Parent-Student Handbook (updated 6/24).  

  • Parents must read For the Children’s Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, a book that describes our Charlotte Mason approach to education.  

  • Completed interview with SMCS Board Representatives.  

  • Approval of admission by the Board.

  • Payment of enrollment fee.

Notice of acceptance or non-acceptance will follow the screening sessions and interview.
