SMCS has a new campus!

Having outgrown its facilities on the campus of Wayside Presbyterian Church, SMCS purchased a 6.2 acre wooded tract nearby, perfect for a Charlotte Mason education model, and constructed upon it new buildings to house grades Kโ€”5th, plus administrative offices (Phase I). These facilities will allow SMCS to accommodate approximately 150 students and staff. Phase II of the project includes a multi-purpose building and additional classrooms.

SMCS moved to the new campus in October 2014. We think it is beautiful (see the photos nearby), which is a credit to Franklin Architects (designer) and Collier Construction Company (contractor).

A capital fund raising campaign is under way. SMCS has already received donations and pledges of over $2.4 million. We only need to raise an additional $90,000 to cover the costs of Phase I. Very close to 100% of our SMCS families have made pledges. We are now depending on all SMCS families to be reaching out to the people within their sphere of influence and inviting them to be financial partners as we seek to provide a place for our children to receive a unique and excellent education.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry, prayerfully consider making a generous donation. SMCS is a 501 (c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Please indicate on the check that your donation is for the โ€œCapital Campaign.โ€ Click HERE to watch a short video about our vision and the capital campaign.
